I searched far and wide for the right paraiba for my 50th birthday ring, and settled on a beautiful oval 1.4 carat one at Star Ruby.
I placed the order on June 10, and had the stone shipped directly to my jeweler in New York to be set. I received the finished ring on June 25, and am absolutely delighted with it - it is *exactly* what I wanted. The photo and description of the stone on the website were spot-on; what I actually got was even more exquisite than I'd expected. If my experience is typical, you can trust these product photos! I took something of a risk, sending the stone "sight unseen" to be set, but I couldn't be more pleased if I'd gone to a brick-and-mortar jewelry store and chosen a ring.
Throughout the selection and shipping process, Mr. Havshil Zaveri maintained great e-mail communication with me, readily responding to my numerous questions and requests. I do recommend paying a few extra dollars for traceable shipping, especially if you live in the U.S. I really appreciated being able to track my stone.
I'm already looking at other stones from Star Ruby; I wouldn't hesitate to do business with them in the future.
