Bixbite, also known as "Red Emerald" or "Red Beryl" is a member of the Beryl family which also includes Emerald, Aquamarine, Morganite, etc. Bixbite is mined at only at Wah Wah mountains in Utah, United States. In 2006, the Jewellers Association named Bixbite as the "rarest gemstone on earth".
